A Journal of Adventures

I’m a 30-something social worker and freelance writer living in Louisville, Kentucky. This website has been around for quite a long time and has hosted a variety of content over the years (angsty poetry, anyone?). More recently it has sat barren and dormant. I’ve decided to resurrect it once again as a diary of adventures.

I’m not really adventurous in the mountain-climbing, white water-rafting, Appalachian trail-hiking way that we often think of when we think of adventure. My adventures sometimes involve travel to other states or countries, but they might also just mean trying a new restaurant, cooking with a new and interesting ingredient, finding a new place for a day hike, or having any other kind of novel experience. This is where I reflect on adventures past and plan the adventures of the future.
